Keeping the Faith

Updated: Sep 2, 2019

“Have faith in yourself. There is a power higher than all of us that is supporting us on our journey. Be brave and take risks. You don't have to have it all figured out to move forward.” ~ Roy T. Bennett

“The new year signals in most people the desire to renew and reaffirm changes and possibilities. Take a moment and reflect on what hasn’t worked in the past and resolve to do it differently this time. Changes sometimes involve courage when there are risks involved, but if they are going to better your life, you cannot let fear or self-doubt stand in your way. The things we claim we want the most don’t stand a chance if we don’t give them one.

Keep moving forward even when the road darkens and you are met with obstacles. If our faith is limited to perfect conditions, we will unravel the first time we are hit with challenges and disappointment. Relationships that are strong and healthy require high levels of faith and trust. We have to risk investing our time, heart and emotions, along with possibly being hurt again if we are to ever open up enough to truly love someone. In our careers, we have to have faith in our abilities, courage to step out on a new venture or ask for that promotion we know we deserve and believe that we can overcome any setbacks if we are to be truly successful.

Now is the time, not tomorrow! Burn the bridges of toxic influences in your life and let it light the way to something better! Pull yourself together, get up and be determined to walk over every obstacle in your path. Reinvest in your spirit and enriching your soul. Envision a better life and then go make it happen! Just for today…have faith and move forward!”
